CASH OUT

It is an option that is widely offered nowadays by bookmakers and it allows you to withdraw an amount before the match is over.

CASH-OUT EXPLAINED:

If you place a bet Team A to beat Team B at odds of 2.00(1/1) and they’re leading 1:0 with 10 minutes to go but at the same time your team play with one man less due to a red card given, you might decide to secure your bet making less profit but not to lose the whole bet.

* With stake of £10 at odds of 2.00(1/1) under the circumstances above, the bookmaker will offer you cash out of about £17
* With stake of £10 at odds of 2.00(1/1), the return will be £20 if Team A win the match and you decide to wait to the end.

If you place a bet Team A to beat Team B at odds of 2.00(1/1) and the result is 1:1 with 10 minutes to go, your team plays with one man less due to a red card being given, you might decide to secure part of your stake not making a profit but minimizing your loss.

* With stake of is £10 at odds of 2.00(1/1) under the circumstances above, the bootmaker will offer you cash out of about £3
* With a stake of £10 at odds of 2.00(1/1,) the return will be £20 if Team A win the match and you decide to wait to the end.

It’s always up to you to make the final and right decision: when to use it and when not. If you are happy with the offer given by the bookmaker, take it.

*D

DRAW NO BET (DNB)

DNB is a type of bet used to secure our bet in case the match finishes a draw.
If our main choice is Team A to win but we have some concerns and don’t want to lose our bet in case of a draw DNB is an option to be used. If the game does end in a draw, then our stake will be refunded.

DRAW NO BET EXPLAINED:

Our pick is: Team A (DNB)
Team A wins = Bet wins
Team A draw = Stake refunded
Team A loses = Bet loses

Draw No Bet (DNB) is an alternative to Asian Handicap 0.0 but the Odds are different so our advice is to check both options before you place your bet.

PUNTER

It means the person who places the bet.

*R

ROI

It means Return on Investment.
An indicator showing whether you are losing money or making a profit.

ROI EXPLAINED

The formula for calculating ROI

PROFIT

Amount Invested = £1,000
Amount returned = £1,400
Net Profit = £1,400 – £1,000 = £400
ROI = (£400 / £1,000) x 100% = 40%

LOSS

Amount Invested = £1,000
Amount Returned = £600
Net Profit = -£400
ROI =(-£400/£1,000)x100% = -40%

* S

SINGLE BET

A Single bet is when one bet is placed on one selection in one event, and it must be a win to make a profit. It is also the most simple bet and an easier way to win.

STAKE

The amount of money we risk on a bet.

To be successful, every bettor must follow some staking plan.

The two most common are the Level Staking Plan and Unit Staking Plan.

Level Stakes is when you bet every time with the same amount of money. Let’s say £10.
You are planning to place five bets today, so all your bets must be £10 each.

Unit stakes are when you bet with different amounts of money; it depends on how confident you are, using a point system, usually from 1 to 10.
How does it work?
- If you are confident enough that your selected match is going to win, 10 points should be placed on that bet.
- If you want to try some risky bet with higher odds, you should stake not more than 5 points on your bet.
Everyone has a different budget, so one unit/point for some players can be £1, for others £10, etc., etc.

* T

TIPS

A betting tip is when someone shares his opinion about the outcome of an event.
